The three hosts Agnes, Anna and Carmen - Gisse Zwölf

Your hosts at Gisse Zwölf in Val Pusteria, South Tyrol

Just good times

The attention to detail and passion for the special touches are no coincidence – what’s lived and loved at our partner hotel, Innerhofer, we bring to Gisse Zwölf with the same dedication and passion. Here you can enjoy the absolute freedom to organise your holiday exactly as you wish: Let the day come to you in a relaxed way, without being tied to fixed times, and experience a place that offers you space to flourish. And the best part: you can take advantage of (almost) all the included services of our partner hotel, Innerhofer, whenever you like.

A warm welcome:
we’re here for you …
Hostess Agnes - Gisse Zwölf
Agnes, the warm-hearted soul

… stays calm no matter what. Always with a smile and a listening ear, she quickly creates a feel-good atmosphere. Hostess with a heart? That’s Agnes to a tee! And when it comes to food – especially sweet treats – she simply can’t resist. After all, life is too short not to fully indulge …

Favourite spot: whether to unwind, take in the view, or feel the magic of nature, Agnes finds it all and more in the “Goasinga Märchenwald” right on the doorstep.

Hostess Anna - Gisse Zwölf
Anna, the ray of sunshine

… is famous for her trademark laughter, which not only shakes the walls but is also highly contagious. Her quick-witted remarks are so good that our guests are left open-mouthed with laughter. But beware: before her first coffee, Anna is more of a grump than a sunshine, which is why she’s a fan of night shifts!

Favourite spot: the Gasthof Huber in Mühlbach, where a delicious “Gröstl” is served. This place holds nostalgic memories too, as it was once the family home of Grandma Lena.

Hostess Carmen - Gisse Zwölf
Carmen, the calming influence

… always keeps her cool in a crisis and brings perfect balance to the team.
Always ready to fulfil every guest’s wish – as a cook, she creates culinary delights. At first, she may seem a bit shy, but once you get to know her, her warm-hearted nature shines through. Unlike night-owl Anna, Carmen prefers a cosy, relaxed evening and is happy not to pour the last beer of the day.

Favourite spot: in summer, you’ll find her at the “Beach” in San Giorgio, a chillax hotspot by the water. In winter, she’s probably at Pircher Alm or cheering on the “Puschtra Wölfe” at the Intercable Arena in Brunico.

Between yesterday, today and tomorrow
Heritage with heart

In the 1960s, Lena and Franz Innerhofer followed their dream and launched the Hotel Innerhofer. Lena, passionate as a hostess and cook, and Franz, the relaxed and welcoming host with green fingers and the most reliable weather forecast around. In the 1990s, the daughters took over the hotel from their parents. Agnes became the first point of contact for all guests, whether on the phone or at check-in. In summer, she also hops on her bike as the hotel’s bike guide and pedals alongside guests. Meanwhile, Edith took care of service with heart and devotion, always ready to listen to both guests and staff. In winter, you’d find her hitting the slopes with guests, making the most of the snow.

Dreams continue to grow

In 2021, Edith passed the reins to her nieces, Anna and Carmen, who now run the business with their mother, Agnes. Anna’s path led her back to the hotel after a design degree reawakened her hospitality genes. Even as a newcomer, she knows her way around and uses her expertise to shine in both service and at the bar. Carmen, on the other hand, knew in primary school she wanted to be a chef – and she’s made that dream come true at the hotel. Speaking of dreams: in 2024, the new Gisse Zwölf apartments will officially open.
